Make yourself comfortable!

Coming to church for the first time can be a little daunting, but we want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you're here. Our welcome team will be first to greet you on the door. Please don't engage in any element of our service if it makes you feel uncomfortable, and feel free to chat to us about it afterwards!

Babies and Restless Children

If you have a baby or young child that becomes restless during the service, please feel free to make use of our Children's Corner in the back room. There are sofas to keep you comfortable and a selection of toys to keep your little one occupied.

Toilets

Our toilets can be found just off the corridor between the Main Hall and the Coffee House. Alternatively, if you require disabled or baby changing facilities, these can both be found by the front door.

Parking

Many people who come to church choose to park just around the corner in 'Piggins Croft Car Park'. Parking is free on Sundays and there's direct access to church through our back door. Alternatively, you can park on Derbyshire Lane outside the front.

After The Service

When the service is over, we have refreshments in our coffee house. Simply go down the ramp and through the doors for a cup of tea or coffee. Sometimes we can overrun a little, so don't feel obliged to stay if you need to go.

Ministry Corner

If you'd like someone to talk to or pray with, then make sure to spend some time in our ministry corner. Our pastoral care team are here to offer you the love and support you need. We're at the back of the main hall, after the service.

Dress Code

We're very relaxed here at the King's Family Church, so don't worry about trying to dress to impress. Simply wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!

Children

Our incredible Kid's Team work hard to make sure that your children also have a fantastic time when they are here. The team all wear orange Kid's Team t-shirts to make it easy for you to identify them. Half way through the service, the children go out to their group in the back room with lots of fun games, crafts and activities. If it's your first time and you'd prefer to keep your children in the main service, please feel free to do so. If you have any questions, make sure to ask a member of the team!

Giving

During our service, we take an offering for those who'd like to financially support the church. If you're new here, please feel under no obligation to give. If you'd like to give however, you can gift aid your giving by using a gift aid envelope, filling out the form, and popping it in the offering bag or donations box on the wall.
